In the months leading up to the event, we managed a very large ad spend for Google Adwords and Facebook Ads targeting potential event attendees in the country of Nigeria, a welcome challenge. We even worked in two places at once, covering the event onsite in Lagos and the engagement from the States!
We brought a team of 8 content creators to Lagos, hired two local photographers, and coordinated with our project manager back in the States who managed all live-tweeting and engagement.
Thousands of people gathered together for five days of fellowship and worship. Our team captured photo and video to recap on social platforms.
Our videographers and photographers worked with our graphic designer to produced these Instagram Stories in real-time.
Through our Google ads and event amplification, we helped CfAN gain reach a global audience, grow Facebook and Instagram fan base for 3 channels by an average of 4.7%, and increased Facebook engagement by 100% and Instagram by 265.4%. During the event, we tweeted 10.5K tweets, reaching over 90 million impressions.
